Meenvallam Waterfalls is a serene and less-explored natural waterfall located near Karimba, around 30 km from Palakkad town. Originating from the Thuppanad River, which is a tributary of the Bharathapuzha, the waterfall cascades through several rocky tiers deep within the forest, making it a hidden gem for nature lovers.
Surrounded by lush green forest and managed by the Palakkad District Tourism Promotion Council (DTPC) and the Kerala Forest Department, Meenvallam is ideal for a quick eco-trip. Visitors can take a short trek from the entry point to the waterfall base, enjoy refreshing baths (depending on water flow and safety), and admire the cool forest climate.
Unlike commercial spots, Meenvallam offers an untouched ambiance and is a great escape for those looking for nature, silence, and soft adventure.
